Are you battling with addiction? Valerie J. Elsbree has a master's degree in social work and is a certified addictions professional. Our office is conveniently located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. With more than 20-years of experience we can help you get back on the right track. In addition to addiction, we offer counseling and therapy for the family, couples, anxiety, eating disorders, domestic violence, and trauma. We work with men, women, children, teens, families, gay, lesbian, bi-sexuals and trans-sexuals. Call for your initial assessment, which will determine the area of treatment. From this process, we develop an individualized treatment plan. We work one-on-one with each client to insure quality of care.
Qualifications
Valerie J. Elsbree MSW, CAP is a past director of 320-bed agency for private practice. She has experience in a clinical settings and treatment centers working with people of all ages. She has written a grant that was approved to help prostitutes to become rehabilitated and provide therapies and medications, if necessary, to help them transform their lives and become productive members of society. She earned her M.S.W. from Florida International University, and her B.S. the Union Institute. Her extensive education includes the University of Miami, addictions training for the CAP certification, and she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is a member of the Florida Certification Board, the Gay and Lesbian Community Center, and the National Association of Social Work. Her most recent book Eating Disorders: a guide for children and families, is available for sale through most major booksellers. |
